Price Guide:

Pet Portraits

It has been so fun immortalizing everyone’s furry friends these past few years, and I’ve finally reached a point where I feel very confident in my technique, and have fine-tuned the style that I prefer to complete these in.

There are many factors that can go into the pricing of my pieces, examples being: subject matter, size, placement, color, etc. Because of this, it is way easier for me to give everyone a flat rate versus charging hourly.

I put together this general guide to help give you an idea of what my projects run around, so hopefully this helps. There may be some variations when I give you an official time estimate and price quote when I respond to your tattoo submission, so please keep an open mind! I base these pieces on a half-day/full-day/multiple session appointments.

I charge per pet, and these pieces typically range between $800-$2,000.

I’ll be taking priority on the types of pet portraits featured below, and am no longer comfortable doing more than 2 pets in one sitting (but 1 pet portrait per session would be preferred.)

I also usually ask that clients either send me healed photos at the 6 week mark after your first appointment, or make a complimentary touch-up appointment while we’re scheduling so I can see how the pigment settles in. They may not always need a touch up, but sometimes I may want to smooth out some areas as needed during this 6 week touch up appointment, so please keep that in mind, especially if you’re traveling in from out of state.

The touch-up appointment isn’t necessary (and if you’re happy with how it healed out the first pass, or aren’t sure if it needs the touch-up appointment or not, feel free to reach out with healed photos and we can discuss the options together.)

Color pet portraits start at $1,200 per pet, and they need to be done at a certain size to make sure they heal correctly. These can take around 5-6 hours to complete, and sometimes multiple sessions depending on the size, and if you add any other decorative elements to them.

I also love doing anime/fine art pet portrait mashups! Those pieces start at $1,200, and can range depending on how many pets are incorporated, color or black and grey, and size/location. These pieces tend to be on the larger scale, and they may need 2-3 sessions.
